The Flanagan Jazz Program is open to all students in the Instrumental Music program, using wind instruments including Saxophone, Trumpet, and Trombone, as well as rhythm section instruments such as the Drum Set/Percussion, Guitar, Bass (Acoustic and Electric) and Piano. There is both an intermediate and an advanced level Jazz Band, so ANY student of any ability level is encouraged to join! The ensemble plays music of a wide variety of styles: Swing, Latin, Funk, R&B, Pop, Rock, and much more!

Our Jazz students are ambassadors for our school: in addition to consistently earning Superior assessment ratings, out group is regularly called to perform for events around our Pembroke Pines community.
